FIRST,
THE LOGO ITSELF
It was given to me in the
1970”s, by the Holy Spirit. After meeting Him on Pensacola Beach
(Florida, U.S.A.) July 29th, 1974, my life will never be the
same.
Hopefully, yours will be enriched by what you read here, in the
links and the materials we offer (now and as we further develop them)
.
As in most things in life, the more you think and study … the
more you see and learn, AND THE MORE THERE IS TO LEARN.
You first notice the three
interlocking circles. They represent our triune God: The Father, The
Son, and The Holy Spirit, of course.
You may already know all three.
Wonderful. It took me 45 years to find the 3rd one, The Holy
Spirit, that is. What a teacher He is. I always (yep, always) knew the
Father and Son, but I didn’t even know THE HOLY GHOST existed.
Oh, I must have heard people
speak of Him. But, some how nobody ever taught me who He was, and like
many, I hadn’t really studied my Bible very well. The Holy Spirit was
just a word, a flimsy, nondescript, HOLY GHOST.
In 1974, He became real and
started teaching me.
JESUS SAID “But
when the comforter is come, who is the HOLY GHOST, whom the FATHER will
send in My name, He will teach you all things.” WOW, DOES HE! Oh,
how I wish He had come to me earlier. I have so much to learn and so
little time to learn it.
Still considering the logo,
there are three interlocking circles. We learn another truth. That is,
they are, in fact ONE. Now, again you may already know
that. I had heard it, but it didn’t mean anything to me. Again …
just words.
JESUS SAID “He
that hath seen Me hath seen the FATHER, how sayest thou then, ‘show us
the FATHER’?”
Now, I know it!
I don’t understand it. (I just KNOW IT!) If you understand it,
please E-mail it to me and we’ll surely put it in the PERFECT
newsletter, when we finish designing it.
THE ICTHUS (fish). You
see that symbol all over the place today. If you are a Christian you may
know about it … “The Legend of the Fish.” Again, until the
seventies, I had seen it but it didn’t mean much. I guess I assumed it
had something to do with the church or clergy.
The suggestion
is clearer when you see one with a cross in it. It becomes VERY CLEAR
when you see the Latin symbols and learn they translate … JESUS,
CHRIST, SAVIOR, LORD.
It took on even
more meaning when I read the words JESUS spoke to us all, really,
“FOLLOW ME AND I WILL MAKE YOU FISHERS OF MEN.” I got the message, but … who,
me?
Then I heard “The
Legend” about how the symbol was used as a code, by the early
Christians to keep from being crucified or fed to lions and such.
When Christians met for the
first time, one would somehow draw a line forming half the fish, and the
other would draw a line forming the other half of the fish. The union
was established. (We could use it today in all too many places,
couldn’t we … and save a lot of trauma).
One more, and then we’ll move
on. If you look closely, you will see the intersections forming the fish
in two directions (simply by making the lines for the tail dark at the
other end of the fish and lightening those that are dark now … see
it?). That means there can be as many as 6 fish in the Logo. (Remember
how Jesus multiplied the loaves and fishes … to feed the 5 thousand
… and then the 4 thousand)? Kind of neat isn’t it? Isn’t HE?
That simply means, sometimes
it’s hard to know who are and who aren’t Christians. That brings me
to the main point about our site and I believe OUR LIVES.
We sell our stuff and things in
our businesses. We sell sales training, management knowledge, skills and
experiences in MARSALAINC to “pay our way.” Then we are able to give
the Christian material FREE, to be about His business.
This shouldn’t seem strange
when we remember that Jesus was a carpenter, Paul a tent maker, Matthew
a banker, and James, John and Andrew fishermen.
Yet, some how, we visualize
them all “ going around, living off the fat of the land, or entirely
from gifts or donations.” We tend to forget; they were more like us,
than the “organized church … the clergy, preachers, deacons or
priests.”
Remember how they were hated by
the church of their day, thrown out of synagogues, judged by the
leaders, and finally … Jesus was killed by the church (not His kingdom
Church [The Body Of Christ], which He said is within us and Christians
collectively). The “man made church is unfortunately full of holes …
LIKE YOU AND ME”).
Often we forget that we ALL are
the church (believers that is). All too many end up making their lives
miserable, even hopeless trying to be what they aren’t supposed to be.
Sound familiar? Shakespeare said “all the world’s a stage and all
the men and women merely players. HOW TRUE … and the roles we play …
wow!
GOD CALLED, LISTEN CAREFULLY, (us all
into the ministry), but very FEW into the organized church ministry as
preachers, teachers, pastors, deacons etc. (That are partially or fully
paid ministry).
So, we, the rest, must use the
talents, skills, and abilities He gave us to earn a living and provide
for our families, support the church, have babies, and raise kids and
all the other TOUGH STUFF with which we wrestle.
The difficult part is listening
to him, to know, “unto what has he called us” and then HEADING HIM.

later.
But for now, let me say,
simplistic as it sounds (it isn’t simple), when you are called into
the (paid) ministry, it will be paid. When, like most of us, you are
called into the ministry (notice, no “PAID MINISTRY.”), YOU MUST
find what He has equipped you to do.
Then, go do it. Your role may
be Mother, Father, laborer, carpenter, plumber, salesman, doctor,
lawyer, Indian Chief. BE SURE TO TAKE HIM WITH YOU, AND, MAKE THAT
YOUR MININTRY.
When you do, … remember … you
are in the sales game, no matter WHAT YOU ARE OR WHAT YOU DO. Is
that so hard to receive and believe?

IS SELLING?

The definition of SELL is not what your
dictionaries say it is. PLEASE PULL THEM OUT RIGHT NOW
AND COMPARE THEIR DEFINITION TO MINE.

DEFINITIONS … are filled with these negative and incorrect
verbs, adverbs AND adjectives … BETRAY FOR MONEY, OFFER DISHONORABLY,
MAKE A MATTER OF CORRUPT BARGAINING, TRICKERY, DECEPTION, VIOLATION OF
TRUST, DUTY OR LOYALTY, AND ON AND ON … JUST LOOK AND SEE FOR
YOURSELVES NINE
OUT OF TEN ARE BAD.
Is
it any wonder people have a bad attitude about SALESMEN?

MY
DEFINITION … “The
PROCESS OF PERSUADING OTHER PEOPLE TO ACCEPT YOUR IDEAS, PRODUCTS
AND SERVICES AS THE BEST ANSWER TO THEIR NEEDS AND WANTS AND THEN TAKING
THE ACTION TO SATISFY THOSE NEEDS AND WANTS TO THE BENEFIT OF ALL”
(Tell
the Webster, Oxford and all the other academia’s, WHO WRITE
DICTIONARIES, to consider that. Better still tell them to try DOING it
… THEY WILL LIKE IT).
THE
PRINCIPLE … SELLING, WHEN DONE PROPERLY, IS HONORABLE, GRACIOUS AND
GOOD!
Please consider … In HIS great commission, in Matthew
28:19 Jesus COMMANDED ALL OF US TO … “GO THEREFORE AND
MAKE DISCIPLES OF ALL NATIONS …” That says to me “GO SELL
THEM MAC.” WHAT DOES IT SAY TO YOU?
Further … Not all ministers (preachers, pastors,
priests), or whatever you do, are GOOD … NEITHER are all salesmen BAD
… It’s all about what … why … and …how we do it!
WHY
WE DO IT.
Why do you do what you do? Is
it because THAT’S EXACTLY WHAT YOU CHOOSE TO DO. (Less than 1% of the
people are doing it for that reason. Get our E-BOOK … “Who wants to
be a millionaire” and you’ll see).
Most have jobs, because they
have to have them, to earn a living, to support a family, have nice
things and go to those “far away places,” etc etc.
Why do we follow the Lord’s
commandment … to “Go Into All The World And Preach The Gospel To All
Creation?” Believe me, the only way we can do that effectively is
because …HE MAKES US WANT TO!
And, how does He do that?
Simple. He sends the HOLY SPIRIT into our lives to WOO US, draw us,
drive us, teach us, SELL US AND GIVE US POWER WE DON’T AND CAN’T
HAVE ON OUR OWN! (Acts: 1, 8 “But Ye Shall Receive Power When The
Holy Spirit Comes Upon You And Ye Shall Be My Witnesses!”)
So, if you are feeling that
PULLING, DRAWING, SELLING BY THE Holy Spirit, YOU WILL KNOW IT!!! AND
YOU’LL WANT TO DO WHAT HE DIRECTS.
YOU WILL WANT TO … HAVE TO
… BECAUSE OF WHAT HE HAS DONE FOR YOU. HE PAID FOR ALL YOUR (MY)
FAILINGS, FAULTS AND SINS. HE WIPED THEM ALL AWAY … YOU ARE FREE …
AND CLEAN … AND YOU NOW HAVE ETERNAL LIFE. That is some kind of
product to go sell the world … THE ONLY PERFECT PRODUCT!
So that is WHY YOU WANT TO TAKE
HIM WITH YOU, WHEREVER YOU GO, and WHATEVER YOU DO.
THEN, ALL YOU NEED IS THE KNOW
HOW TO.
HOW
WE DO IT!
(This is where we come
in)
First, we must agree on one
thing. THE HOLY SPIRIT … AND NO ONE ELSE … CAN TEACH YOU
HOW TO DO WHAT YOU MUST BE ABOUT … HE GIVES YOU THE POWER, DESIRE,
ABILITY.
But, it has been said, THE HOLY
SPIRIT has no feet, hands, tongue etc. therefore HE must use worthless
things (LIKE ME) to teach the CALLED.
HE HAS BEEN TEACHING ME FOR A
LIFE TIME, HOW TO TEACH SELLING … HOW TO MAKE IT EASY, FUN AND
REWARDING FOR PEOPLE TO SELL … ESPECIALLY THE PERFECT PRODUCT!
