  1. In 1945, some scientists and generals sold Harry Truman on a plan that would end W. W. TWO ---

  2. Truman sold Japan on surrendering by planting two giant mushrooms on their soil, one on Hiroshima and one on Nagasaki, "the sale was closed "!!

  3. Ronnie Reagan sold the Soviet Union on "tearing down that wall " and the cold war was history !! ... A pretty nice sale!

  4. I sold Lucy, my wife on becoming Mrs. Mac A. Wilson. Now are you kiddin me? That was the impossible sale, salesmen are always talking about!

  5. Lucy now sells me on things ... Taking out the garbage, cleaning out the cat box of K.C. ... our Magnificat, and like, moving over to the left hand lane, NOW ... so we can safely turn left five miles down the road etc. etc.

  6. Ads sell us products and services daily,

  7. T.V. sells us stuff and things all the time we are watching "the Silly Box "and hoping (I think ), the bad guys get what’s coming to them, the comedian is funny without being filthy, and our politicians finally figure out, liars and cheaters never win ... do they ???

  8. SELLING , SELLING , SELLING, --- IN FACT ... NOTHING, I MEAN, NOTHING HAPPENS TILL SOMEBODY SELLS SOMEBODY SOMETHING !!!

IN FACT, IF THIS WERE NOT TRUE:

we’d still have: outside plumbing —"out houses," to you real young city folks, oil lamps, wash pots, and cloths lines, we’d be cooking over open fires, we’d be riding horses or buggies to town every Saturday night, Jay Leno, The Simpsons and "Who wants to be a Millionaire" wouldn’t exist, Donald Trump would live in a one bedroom log cabin, (or thousand acre ranch) and, Bill Gates would still be playin software games in his garage.

 

SO, IT’S TRUE ISN’T IT? EVERY DAY EVERYBODY IS SELLING SOMEBODY SOMETHING.
